At this time, Energy Shield of New Hampshire accepts all forms of payment.

Yes. Although each job is unique. We typically require 30% of the estimate to secure material for your project. This deposit secures your spot on our calendar as well and purchases material. The deposit is nonrefundable for custom ordered material. The remaining balance is due upon completion of your project.

Yes. Not only will the estimate provide you with a projected cost, but it will detail the scope of work to be completed.

Though we take every precaution to make sure that things go right, we do recognize that accidents do happen. To that end, for the benefit of you & your family and our employees, are a licensed and fully insured company in the state of New Hampshire.

We pride ourselves on living up to our commitments. Once you have agreed to the estimate, we will give you a tentative start date for the project along with an estimate of how many days the project will take and a tentative work schedule so you’ll know when to expect our team on your property.

Within 2 days of accepting the written estimate, we will put you into our work rotation schedule. Based on our current workload, you may be waiting a few weeks or longer which is why we recommend you book with us sooner rather than later if your project is time-sensitive.

Yes. Though we prefer to work a normal work week – Monday through Friday – our crews will also work on weekends if a project requires us to do so.

At Energy Shield of New Hampshire we do not mark up any material costs, but you are certainly welcome to buy your own materials. But keep in mind, because we know exactly what we’ll need for your job, when we source the materials for you,  you can rest assured that from day one we’ll have everything we need to complete your project.

Not only are we OSHA certified, but we consider your family our family when we are completing a job. Our staff is not only highly skilled, but respectful, friendly and conscientious. And if for any reason you have concerns about any member of our crew, all you need to do is reach out to our management team and we’ll address your concerns right away.

PLEASE NOTE: In case we have questions or run into unanticipated problems during your job, someone 18 years of age or older must be present when work is being completed.

Depending on the nature of the change you’d like to make, most times a simple change order is written into the existing contract in order to accommodate your request. If, however, your request dramatically changes the scope of the project, a review with our management team will be completed to decide how we are to proceed.

The good news is after 40+ years in business, our staff is skilled in leading our prospective customers through a thorough conversation about their project before we provide them with a written estimate. This way the odds of needing to request a change order later is kept to a minimum.

Due to our thoroughness in our written estimates and our daily inspections of your project, it is very rare that we have an unhappy customer. But should something be left undone or wasn’t done well, we will do our utmost to fix the issue within reason. All that is required of you is to bring your concern to our management team’s attention ASAP.

Unfortunately, no. Fall happens to be the busiest season for skilled contractors. But, why?

Well, as we see it, people are hunkered down in the winter and are not interested in opening up their roof or their windows of their home to the cold. In the spring, people are just starting to make their way outdoors again and are anxious to be active and not tied to their homes. In the summer, people are caught between wanting to enjoy the nice weather and not wanting to open their home up to the extreme temperatures of July and August. And then comes the fall, when people are preparing for the winter. The temperature gets cooler and they begin noticing all the projects they didn’t get done the rest of the year. And then – BAM! – contractors are suddenly overrun with requests for projects.

For this very reason, we highly encourage people to reach out to us as soon as possible to get their project scheduled.

As a rule of thumb, here are the services we offer and the times of year we can perform them:

  • Roofing: Year round, but if there is a leak, don’t wait regardless of the temperature – call us as soon as you notice water
  • Siding: Year round
  • Windows: Year round, but late spring & early fall are optimum
